Sales Order Statuses

A sales order can take on various statuses, which we summarize below:

• Concept (only this status reserves no stock)
• Waiting for payment
• Ready for picking
• Picking
• Ready for packaging
• Packaging
• Ready for shipping
• Complete
• On hold
• Canceled

Depending on the status of a sales order, certain features or adjustments are no longer possible. For example, you can't change or modify product items in an order with a status of "Ready for picking" without first setting it to "On hold", whereupon you can make changes again.

Orders with a status higher than "Picking" can only be modified to a limited extent to prevent errors during the picking process.

If an order receives a status of "Complete", then only minor adjustments are possible (such as adding an attachment).
