Stock Correction

Over time there may be a discrepancy in the inventory due to incorrect picking or breakage. Of course, Stoqflow allows you to adjust the inventory according to the actual number of products physically present in the warehouse. In Stoqflow we call this a stock correction. There are 2 ways to reach the screen where the stock correction is performed.

• Via the menu 'Inventory Management' => click on 'Stock Correction'
• Via the menu 'Products' => choose your product => click on 'Stock Correction' => click on 'Stock Correction' (you will not leave the product screen)

If you want to edit the inventory via the menu 'Inventory Management', you will need to enter the SKU or the name of the product. Here you can also use a barcode scanner if desired. If you want to edit the inventory via the menu 'Products', you will first need to open the desired product to then click on 'Stock Correction'. With the last option, you do not leave the product card.

You now arrive at the screen where you can change the inventory. A menu appears with the stock quantities of the product per location and per batch or lot number. In this menu a stock mutation can be entered. You can also adjust the batch or lot number, expiration date, location and notes for the product. Finally, an optional reason for correction can be specified, handy to know later why you made the inventory adjustment.
